☆ Breaking-up a relationship

Breaking-Up

When it comes to forgetting somebody or simply ending up a relationship it is a painful and awful process, you need to think of how to get rid of that pain and not just let time pass by, because later on it is going to get you back and affect you even more.

I agree that once we are done with someone, we need to find alternatives for us to spend our time, perhaps hanging out with friends, or keeping ourselves busy most of the time then, quite so we are going to reduce the pain little by little, it is a hard thing to do, but forgetting the past and staying healthy, by not letting depression catch up with you.

In my opinion, the harder you try not to think about that, the more you actually do; and so for that reason you need to think about the future and forget about the past, sometimes you cannot take the next step because you are holding on to the past and so that will not allow you to be free and be open to new opportunities, if you want to remember the beautiful stuff you did with you ex-girl or boyfriend, that is fine but you cannot expect that to reoccur, because it is over with forever, perhaps it would be a good idea to remember the reasons for which led to the break-up, and to start looking for a better choice. Being friends with an ex is not a good idea at all and I say that based on a personal experience, it is always better to stay away from that person for a long time until you feel that you are ready to talk to him or her without any hard feelings or resentments for not giving the healing process enough time to work out. After the process is over and you feel you are ready, you can even be friends again, without any mixed emotions and perhaps you will even have a better healthier relationship than before, but sometimes it is just better not to have any contact with you ex at all.

Every relationship you have with someone it is a great experience to think about, because you learn a lot,you have new stories to tell, new adventures, and even you get to know yourself a little bit more, you cannot say that it was waste of time. Sometimes we need to understand that although what happened was horrible, you learned from that experience and you will not let that happen again, also you will be ready if something similar happens later.

Thank you J

☆ Body Language...

Italy (Body Language)

Italy is a country that has a great diversity of body languages; I would like to talk about the meaning of some of their gestures.

I found interesting, that some gestures with the head and hand have a totally different meaning than I knew before; I read an article which talked about some gestures, basically the “texas longhorn sign” has a particular meaning for them, if you do that in Italy, you will be insulting someone else, because it means that your hubby/boyfriend is cheating on you. That is way too different than we’re used to, because you will never think about it, and maybe you see somebody is doing that, and for you it will be completely fine, well, my opinion about that sign is that you love rock, and it relates to the devil, but in Italy it has a different story.

Another common and quite used gesture is when you put your 5 fingers tips together, for them that is a particular way to say “what the heck are you talking about?”.

With these 2 gestures, I would like to point out that in Italy words are sometimes not needed, when you can play with the body language.

In summary, it is important to be aware of these gestures and their meanings in different countries and even provinces or regions of the same country… You never know if the gesture you’re making could offend anyone.

☆ Personal Information

Hello Everyone

I hope you are doing great. I would like to share some details about myself with you:

I am 22 years old, I am currently working at HP, for the software licensing team, I worked there before, from 2007 to 2009 as a customer service representative, but then I decided to study full time. I studied tourism before, but I decided to switch careers and I am glad I made that decision

I love music, and as you know I used to play in a band, so when I have free time, I sometimes play the guitar.

I work full time and I go to college every Friday and Saturday, I really hope that I can start taking dancing lessons again soon; I would like to take classic jazz lessons.

Have a great week.

Regards.
